When you see the term “Ad Display,” it means that the advertisements you have on your website were successfully presented to one of your visitors. With the rising popularity of ad blockers, this term is very important when you’re analyzing your blog’s ad revenue and performance.
If one of your visitors is using some type of ad blocking software, static advertisements are not shown on their browser. Thus, you don’t receive any type of income from that visit. The term applies to banners, pop-up ads, interstitial pages, and any other type of ads that are added to a particular page. It is not, however, used to describe affiliate marketing links.
