Similar to cost per action and cost per order, the cost per sale is how much the merchant will pay each time a sale is made through the affiliate link. Also referred to as CPS, the cost per sale is a predetermined rate for affiliate marketers.
The unique link provided to you by the affiliate program tracks all sales coming from your website, ensuring that you are crediting for making a conversion. To qualify as a sale, a transaction on the merchant’s website must be made.
