What is B2B?

B2B is shorthand for “Business to Business.” It’s a term that’s used to describe any exchange of goods or services that happens between two companies. While business-focused products and services do exist in the real world, B2B is often used to describe companies that operate online. The opposite of B2B, where businesses sell to directly to consumers, is called B2C.

There are several B2B affiliate marketing programs out there. Typically, commission rates are higher than standard consumer programs. This is because conversions often lead to more profit for the advertiser. Also, B2B conversions tend to lead to a long-term relationship, generating more income for the advertiser over time.
